A game of firsts

Today was Lillian's first soccer game and she had a BLAST! We are so proud her!

Here she is taking her first corner kick. I love the look of excitement on her face.

Her first time listening to the coaches pep talk at half time.  (not that they needed it, since the other team had yet to score)

 

She had so much fun, and told us that she can't wait for next weeks practice and game.  I was impressed with the coaches, they did a great job remembering all of the kids names and subbing them in and out. They were also really good as you can see from the picture of Lillian throwing the ball in at helping them with the things they hadn't tried before.   We are looking forward to the rest of the season and watching her play and enjoy herself!
